What we do
Zetta Florence is all about the important connections in our lives. Our aim is to inspire you to record your own story through the timeless medium of paper. Drawing on works in the Zetta Florence archives and the treasures held in Australian cultural institutions, we design and develop beautiful decorative stationery that includes notecards, journals, decorative papers, greeting cards, calendars and other paper products. From the paper quality to the design, everything is carefully created with the highest standards in mind. All products are designed in Australia by us.
Vision
Zetta Florence is one of Australia’s leading shopping destinations for finely printed paper and presentation products. We consistently update our designs including merchandise for the State Library of Victoria. Distributed exclusively by Readings and Zetta Florence, the products reflect Australian imagery and style. With two stores in Melbourne and our online store, our focus is on in house designed and constantly changing wraps, calendars, frames, prints, diaries, journals, greeting cards, plain notes & envelopes and accessories such as ribbons, erasers, pens, magnets, embellishments. We also offer custom made presentation products online and through our stores. We believe in the values of good design and quality product; at the same time we strive for reasonable prices.
Inspirations
A uniquely elegant range developed from the archives of some of Australian leading national cultural institutions and our own archives, these inspiring works are mostly unseen and out of copyright or with copyright permissions. Selected works are transformed into stationery products that promote our culture and makes people more connected in our community.
About the Team
Our core staff members consist of three brilliant people who have been instrumental in our success. They are Stephen who manages and organises all product in and out, Julia who ensures customers are well attended to and our website is brilliant, and Renee who determined effort makes our stores look even more beautiful year after year. There are other designers and managers and sales assistants and warehouse staff who deserve equal celebration but are too numerous to mention. Our wonderful suppliers somehow maintain the stringent quality that we insist on. And lastly we thank our accountants who keep us fed.
The Zetta Florence Name
"A lot of people think Zetta Florence is in Italy, a little known area in Florence or an ancient Italian village, where beautiful stationery is made in the traditional way, but actually, Zetta Florence is my grandmother's name," says Georgina Knightley, the founder. "The real Zetta Florence raised five children almost single-handedly through wars and depression and with great devotion and moral code. Her story is really the story of Australia - one which we should all rejoice in. Our products are designed to create, store and present our own stories, for now and beyond.”
